The Careers Service organizes events on campus specifically to help you develop effective career planning and job search skills.
Careers advisers are also invited to deliver workshops and presentations that are agreed with your programme leader and may be credit bearing. These activities will help you to take the right steps towards being ‘career ready’ before the end of your course.
Contact with employers
A range of graduate employers are invited to visit GCU to discuss recruitment opportunities with students. The Careers Centre staff organise these and are widely publicised on our website. Your School or programme leader may also invite speakers to give presentations to you as part of your course and you may have an opportunity to raise career related issues.
