Throughout the month of April, the Students’ Association held a survey to find out if London students knew the purpose of a Class Rep or School Officer and to find out the types of events/social activities they wanted to see run by their Students’ Association. The feedback gathered would be used to help adapt further events and activities on campus to those that students are interested in, along with finding out their views on London’s representation.

For every student that filled out the survey, they had the opportunity to enter into a prize draw to win a £30 Amazon voucher, with the runner up receiving a £20 Amazon voucher. The Student President, Lauren Ramage, who also had the idea of running the London Survey, chose the two prize-winners. When speaking to our victors about why they filled in the survey and what it was like to be picked as the winners, they said this:

Turani Hoque – Winner

“It was a great feeling to get rewarded; I’m still confused what to buy from Amazon, because I have everything. Need to think more! It’s a nice feeling to express the right opinion.”

Stephanie Mwangi – Runner up

“I was pleasantly surprised to win the voucher. The reason that I filled in the survey is because I thought it would be nice to have a solid student culture like most campuses. The events by the students association that I have attended before are usually the same few faces but I think having almost all students involved in activities would probably enhance the overall student experience at GCU London.”
