On Friday 3 February, as part of the British School of Fashion Skills Month, GCU London welcomed Daniel Blyth: Buyer at a luxury department store in menswear, accessories and underwear to campus. Daniel delivered a workshop on the insights to the fundamentals of buying brands for a multi-branded store.
In his workshop, Daniel covered topics including:

- How to buy brands
- Buying from a merchandising viewpoint
- Range planning
- Margins
- Different ways to plan and measure
- Full price versus mark down
The British School of Fashion Skills Month has a series of exciting workshops with industry specialists, which continues until the end of February.
