The conference has been organised as part of the pan-European Garcia Project. The team at the University of Iceland lead the project on gender budgeting within Garcia, and invited Angela to speak about developments in Scotland based on her research and as a member of the Scottish Government Equality and Budgets Advisory Group and the recently announced Budget Review Group. Angela is also part of a PhD supervisory team within the Garcia project.
