WiSE hosting events around IAFFE in June

In addition to GCU hosting the International Association of Feminist Economics Annual Conference here at GCU from 27-29 June, WISE is hosting a number of events to include and encourage engagement with our friends, colleagues, partners, and others across civil society and research communities in Scotland.  We are delighted that we have partnered with The Alliance (Health and Social Care Alliance) to discuss with local and international colleagues issues of researching and meeting social care needs from a feminist and human rights approach on Tuesday 25 June.  This year’s Ailsa McKay Memorial lecture is to be given by one of the earliest voices on gender budgeting, Rhonda Sharp, so we are very excited to have Rhonda here for that on 26 June.  As part of IAFFE, the international research project on Care, Work and the Economy (CEW) are having their annual meeting here and we have partnered with them in a roundtable on social care policy development in South Korea and Scotland on Monday 1 July.

To register for any or all of these events, please follow the links below.  These will take you to Eventbrite links. Please do circulate these opportunities round your networks and colleagues.
