The whole campus experience is great including the lectures, tutorials and campus layout.

2021 Cyber Security graduate Kieren Brown shares his insight into life at GCU and life after graduating from university.

I chose to study at GCU because…

It is one of the 2 universities that offered my course (cyber security) and it is very local to me. After having a few open days on campus and from high school I thought it was the best choice!

The most important aspect of my university experience has been…

It was very easy to get along with everyone in my course. The whole campus experience is great including the lectures, tutorials and campus layout.

My biggest lesson learned so far is…

My skills on cyber security were slim to none until my 4 years of this course which has helped me grow further. My development on presentations and essays has also been improved throughout my career.

I get my inspiration from…

I get inspired by previous GCU students who have thrived in many different courses.

My next steps look like…

To find a career related to my course and develop my skills even further in the workplace.

You are most likely to bump into me…

The union was always my favourite place to chill after a long day or even on a break to have a drink or play a game of pool. When closer to exam periods the Sir Alex Ferguson library was a place of choice to get those extra study hours in.
