“I’m proud to be part of the University for the Common Good because it supports all races and genders and is actively taking part in making this world a better place for everyone.”

Media and Communications graduate Daphne Konstantinou shares her insight into life at GCU and life after graduating from university.

I chose to study at GCU because…

My goal when looking for a university to study in was to find a place that is inclusive, supports its students and offers a great learning experience. I chose the course of media and communication offered by GCU because not only is it a great university, but also the course itself gave so many opportunities to expand in different aspects of media whether it was journalism, business, film and so on. I am grateful for my time there and proud to have been part of Glasgow Caledonian University.

The most important aspect of my university experience has been…

The most important experience I had was putting all that we learned into practical knowledge, since it helped me gain a better understanding of what I was taught. Also meeting friends that last a lifetime!

My biggest lesson learned so far is…

GCU helped me grow a lot as a person, it gave me the business and growth mindset I needed to have in order to graduate and start working in that department.

I’m proud to be part of the University for the Common Good because…

I’m proud to be part of the University for the Common Good because it supports all races and genders and is actively taking part in making this world a better place for everyone.

I get my inspiration from…

My inspiration comes from my parents. They come from a background where they had nothing to now owning their own business. and they have taught me the importance of hard work and of never giving up on your dreams.

 My next steps look like…

Though this course has offered me a lot of knowledge that helped me get a good job as well I have decided to follow my dream of becoming an actress, so this is what I’m currently working on at the moment!

You are most likely to bump into me…

The library’s rooftop especially on sunny day. The best place to enjoy your tea and study (as long as the weather is good of course haha).
