“I believe GCU is a really positive and forward-thinking community.”

2021 International Marketing graduate Grace Fallon shares her insight into life at GCU and life after graduating from university.

I chose to study at GCU because…

I knew it had the best/most modern marketing course.

The most important aspect of my university experience has been…

Working with other people and real-life brands on projects.

My biggest lesson learned so far is…

You have to just put yourself out there and try. It’s hard to gain confidence if you don’t challenge yourself. I wish I learned that sooner.

I’m proud to be part of the University for the Common Good because…

I believe it’s a really positive and forward-thinking community.

I get my inspiration from…

Instagram. I see so many different people who work in all different area of marketing who are constantly sharing their experiences and tips.

My next steps look like…

Getting a full-time marketing role. I work part time in social media but would love to be in marketing/social media full time and have it be my main source of income.

You are most likely to bump into me…

On Queen Street. The office where I do social media from and my other job are both located there so I’m constantly going up and down it.
