“The university encourages its students to be creative and successful but still keeping integrity and responsibility at the centre.”

2022 International Fashion Branding graduate Erin McNair shares her insight into life at GCU and life after graduating from university.

I chose to study at GCU because…

The fashion courses offered really appealed to me. I liked that I could study fashion and also business management. I was also really excited about studying at such a modern campus in the middle of Glasgow city centre.

The most important aspect of my university experience has been…

My friends. I have met my best friends at GCU and built relationships that will last a life time.

My biggest lesson learned so far is…

To be brave and push myself out of my comfort zone even when it seems impossible.

I’m proud to be part of the University for the Common Good because…

The university encourages its students to be creative and successful but still keeping integrity and responsibility at the centre.

I get my inspiration from…

My friends and family.

My next steps look like…

I have just started a job as a Fashion buying assistant in London. I have been here for 6 weeks now and got the job before I even graduated! I am loving the job so far and can’t wait to see where my career progresses.

You are most likely to bump into me…

In London now, I guess….
