“The hard work is worth it, even when it seemed overwhelming at some points.”

2023 Applied Psychology graduate Willow Goodall shares her insight into life at GCU and life after graduating from university.

I chose to study at GCU because…

I liked the look of my course, it was broad enough to cover all areas of psychology, but we also got the chance to study the areas we were most interested in in more depth which was ideal as I didn’t know before I started what I’d like more.

The most important aspect of my university experience has been…

Meeting my friends and going through the past 4 years with them.

My biggest lesson learned so far is…

The hard work is worth it, even when it seemed overwhelming at some points.

I’m proud to be part of the University for the Common Good because…

I’ve seen the difference that GCU makes to people’s lives by working with the community to improve higher education access and aspirations.

I get my inspiration from…

Seeing how passionate the psychology staff/lecturers were about their areas of work.

My next steps look like…

Working towards a job within the criminal justice system/forensic psychology.
