GCU health services researcher Dr Nicola Roberts has written a blog about the experiences of frontline respiratory nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The blog entitled ‘The experiences of nurses working with respiratory patients during the pandemic’ features on the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland website and highlights findings from her recent research papers looking into what needs to be done to support respiratory nurses in the future.
Dr Roberts, who is also a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Nursing and Community Health, said: “As we return to normal, it is important that we don’t forget the sacrifices that nurses and all healthcare staff have made.”
