Professor Angela O’Hagan, Wise Centre for Economic Justice Depute Director and Professor of Equalities and Public Policy has been invited to the Irish Parliament today, Thursday 14 July, to give evidence to the Joint Committee on Gender Equality. The evidence is in response to the recommendation of the Citizen’s Assembly on Gender Equality that there should be a legislative base for equality budgeting in Ireland. Professor O’Hagan will discuss the recommendation in relation to the experience of equality and gender budgeting in Scotland and internationally,
