2021 Risk Management graduate Taylor Rooney shares her insight into life at GCU and life after graduating from university.
I chose to study at GCU because…
I always loved the idea of studying in Glasgow. Glasgow Caledonian stood out due to the perfect city centre location, modern campus and subjects they offer to study.
The most important aspect of my university experience has been…
The friendliness of the university is what stood out the most during my experience at university. It’s very easy to meet new people on your course and other courses as well as make long term friendships which creates a sense of community.
My biggest lesson learned so far is…
I studied Risk Management and at first, I wasn’t entirely sure it was for me. However, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed my course within a few months and was then set on it. The course was enjoyable and the lecturers provided great support and guidance for the entire duration of the course.
You are most likely to bump into me…
During my experience at GCU, I enjoyed studying in the modern work spaces and spending time on campus with friends.
