Dr Angela O’Hagan, Research Fellow in ISSJR/WiSE was invited by the Diputacion Foral de Guipuzkoa (Basque Country/Euskadi) to present on approaches to gender budget analysis in Scotland and the UK at an international seminar in San Sebastian, 5-6 March. Contributions included perspectives from Austria, Andalucía and the latest developments in gender analysis of public policy, including taxation, in Euskadi from colleagues at the University of the País Vasco, the DFG, and San Sebastian City Council. Angela’s PhD research had included early gender budgeting initiatives in Euskadi as a case study.
