Application form

many thanks for all your emails and great to hear so much interest in the PgC EAPS. I have attached the application form here for you so please complete this and send a copy to admissions and to me as this speeds up the process.

  • You also need to send me two references (one academic and one practice) on headed notepaper and signed.  You can scan these and email PG admissions and please cc me in.
  • Your qualifications (again you can scan your degrees, masters module credits ect plus your RN, Physio, HV professional qualification if different from your degree). Again email PG admissions and please cc me in.
  • Dont worry if you do not have an honours degree as you can complete an ‘honours degree equivalency’ (CV and statement) if required. If you have completed a masters module successfully then this overides the need for the equivalency
  • Your NMC/HCPC/ SSSC print out that indicates current registration (you can download this from your regulatory body website).
  • Looking forward to processing your admission very soon.  Best wishes helen

Welcome to the 2018/19 PgC Education in academic and practice settings (PgC EAPS) Blogog

Hello there

My name is Helen Gough and I am the programme leader for the PgC EAPS (teacher preparation) programme. Last year I started a Blog to share information with people who were interested in career development in relation to education,  for applicants to access a range of programme information including class attendance dates, and as a shared medium where potential students could communicate.

I will post information about applying, admission procedures etc, regularly here on the Blog  and I will access the Blog frequently to read your replies and /or questions.  I look forward to having some communication with you all.

Best wishes

September 2017

Hi all

Many thanks for all your applications/notes of interest for the programme. Every year we are required to inform applicants that our programmes only run if we have sufficient numbers.  The PgC programme has run every year since 2008 with sufficient numbers and this year as usual we have healthy interest with a good number of applications. So whilst we are confident that the programme will run as it has done for 9 years, I am required to follow due process and give you this information.

Any questions don’t hesitate to be in touch.
